Kara had a dream to start Altered Effects years ago but, sadly was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer before she could make that dream a reality. Between her treatments and making memories with her children the dream was pushed back but, never forgotten. Unfortunately with great sadness after battling for 7 years we lost her in 2020.
HOW I KNEW IT WAS TIME:
I came across a beautiful wire wrapped crystal piece and had a strong urge to try it. I immediately fell in love with it! Between the crystals energy and creating, it made me happy, it made me feel closer to her. While going through some of Kara's personal crystals I came across a piece she wire wrapped. I had no idea she was interested in wire wrapping crystals, I instantly knew I had to give her dream a breath of air. So, here we are now with handmade pieces made with love!
